In 1980, Reagan's side wisely encouraged the expectation that he would be somewhat shallow and ill-informed in his debate with Carter. When Reagan easily exceeded that low bar, he won the debate and probably the presidency.

Now based on the low expectations that Trump has created, all Biden has to do is show up for the debates and be cogent, and he will win. This line of attack by Trump's team is political malpractice, and it probably comes straight from the President. I'll bet the pros on his campaign cringe every time they hear "Sleepy Joe."

ALL of America would LOVE to see the President and Biden debate. The only "cringing" would come from the lying liberal DemocRats and the media. Bring it on, PLEASE, BRING IT ON!
