Jonestown lives on in Kentucky

Religion in schools = some fucked up shit

The psychotic religous cult that runs a private school in Kentucky expelled a student who had her picture taken with a rainbow decorated birthday cake and posted it on Facebook.    Mind you,  she was not celebrating gay pride (but so what if she was?) - and the event did not occur on school grounds.

"When I called the head of the school to discuss it with him, I was quite emotional," Alford told ABC News in an interview Tuesday. "He told me, 'Kim, the sweater, the cake, it just kind of represents gay pride … when you saw the cake you should have refused it.'"

Rainbows are now off limits in that zip code.      You cant even sing the song made famous by Kermit the frog.

If the Liberals don't like the rules of this private school, feel free to leave.  And don't let door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Sad.Must be the same group of christian nut job women going bat shit crazy becaues Burger King used the word "dam" in a commercial.

Some people have principles - others, well their choices say all that need be said.

I fully agree.     They should leave with extreme prejudice...or at least the same amount shown to the girl.

Her next school is more likely to teach her the earth isn't flat.

And its a good object lesson next time you hear an evangelical say they dont dislike the gay community, but rather innocently  believe they should not enjoy the same privileges in society as those in their church.

Thats not kind people with "a different opinion".  That's discrimination spawned by intolerance.   And the low life shitballs  who practice it while hiding behind a cross should be called out for it.

Tell me what rule did this girl break? Her mom bought a premade cake from the grocery store deli.

It is obvious that the person who made this call was and is wrong for expelling this student for the cited reasons.

I agree with you David but the person made this call did just like you do when confronted with an uncomfortable fact. The superintendent stomped his feet and insisted that he wasn't wrong and the girl was in-fact promoting the homosexual lifestyle at her birthday party. When that didn't hold water, the whole school board at this school circled the wagons hemming and hawing claiming well now it really wasn't about her birthday at all. They now claim this girl had committed some other unspecified infractions of their school rules in furtherance of her promotion of the "homosexual agenda" without providing any evidence or details of these incidents of homosexual agenda promotion.

That's funny, the only "uncomfortable fact(s)" I comment on are the lies you and Der Fuhrer have stated. You and Der Fuhrer"s track record currently reads ; zero correct, and multiple times wrong.

A private school can do anything that they like.  They don't like Liberals, apparently.
