Judge dismisses Trump's Florida classified documents case

Yeah - its "unconstitutional" for a special prosecutor?    - says the judge appointed to her position by the defendant and who has already been smacked down by the appeals court for her Trump activism.

We have two justice systems in this country.      Look out if Trump gets back in power.     Obstructing justice, self dealing, and insurrections are going to be small potatos compared to what comes next.

Special counsels have to been appointed and approved by the Senate at some point.  Jack smith was not.

David Weiss is an appointed federal attorney so the hunter case does not apply here

The case could and should have gone forward. Of course, this was nothing but a crazy Trumpy judge making the ruling that Trump paid her for. She opened her legs like a good hooker.

Am I missing something in 28 CFR 600.3 which indicates the qualifications of the special counsel? Sentence 2 of this section states that "The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United State Government. You have it all backwards since David Weiss should never have been appointed.  Even Senator Marcia Blackburn (R) posted so in X. “According to DOJ regulations, a special counsel must be appointed from outside the federal government. Special Counsel David Weiss — who was just appointed — is a U.S. attorney,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tn.) wrote in a tweet.  https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/28/600.3

Lol you couldn't be more wrong. This has been litigated before.

David Weiss is not a special counsel but the federal attorney covering Delaware. So he has the authority to prosecute hunter.

The special counsel law expired in 1999 & is now governed by the appointments clause of the constitution.

The Constitution overrides any rules that the DOJ may have made.

Federalist Society Judge, Ailenn Cannon, who was appointed to her job by the defendant (the 2nd case assigned to her with Trump as defendant) made this call which is after she slow walked the case and had the appeals court knock her down with other faulty decisions made on Trump's behalf.

But have Tom tell you how Trump's NYC judge was corrupt because the judge's daughter is a democrat or something.
