There was nothing "unfair" about our trade relationship with Canada before Trump shat on it.

God, you're ignorant. Canada is a member of the Commonwealth. Therefore, that pledge is the same as the Presidential oath to defend the Constitution. It's a vital part of the ceremony and the institution.

There is absolutely no reason for a trade war with Canada. It apparently all stems from something mildly disparaging Trudeau said about Trump some three years ago. That's IT. That's the sole rationale!

Barbara, I spent most of June in B.C., not far from my home in Portland. What incredibly beautiful cities, Victoria and Vancouver! And the people are so very nice--it's not just a cliche. Canadians are, in the very core meaning of the word, good people.

I'm ashamed for our country. We elected a nasty bully whose mind is crumbling. He's now trying to tear apart our relationships with the rest of the world and cozying up to dictators. And he has his slavish admirers--like David Miller. You've seen how he acts around here. He's a good little Trump copycat in that regard: insulting, nasty, crude, stupid, and lying. I'm sure he'll make some stupid shit remark about me--as if that exonerated him!!

So I just ask you and your fellow Canadians to hold out for a while until Trump is gone, which won't be all that long. We still are and want to be your friends, allies, and trading partners. That will resume when the Orange Turd is put into history's dumpster.
