Kaepernick Vindicated - Owners Didn’t Want To Offend Trump

Those aren’t his career numbers. San Francisco was awful after they canned Harbaugh and purged the talent from their roster. His career numbers are certainly better than a lot of starting QBs and almost all the backups.  If Glennon is worth 18.5 million a year, Kap is certainly worth more.

What did you do for us last year means way more than what did you do for us 2 or 3 or 4 years ago, and other personel changes aren't enough of an excuse for poor performance. THE TICKET BUYING, TV VIEWING PUBLIC makes Kap even more worthless to ANY team. He crapped where he eats....doesn't like the taste. Too bad!

Collusion is an act or acts not something you say.  All the owners along with league managment at a meeting coming to the counclusion they coulden't sign Kap becuase it would make Trump mad is collusion.

The different font makes it look like you cut and pasted that from somewhere else. Next time, copy from a source that is functionally literate. If you wrote that mess yourself...LOL!

Its a shame Kap will be gone.    Now the confederate flag waivers will have to find someone else they think is unamerican and hates the troops.   And I'm sure their leader will point one out....the same draft dodging coward  that insulted Vietnam War vet, John McCain, for being captured....and the same guy who insulted the family of an Iraq war vet who died serving his country.

Welcome to the scumbag world of the alt right.

According to a Reuters poll 72% don't support Kapernick

Looks like a typical liberal, stereotyping people who disagree with them

Tom, it is a good thing the law isn't beholden to public opinion then isn't it? Often in the past when minority groups expressed displeasure about aspects of how things were done in the U.S., their protests were unpopular with the majority of guys like you.  They prevailed nonetheless.

As usual you miss the point.  PJ made a point implying that only a few crazy conservatives were against kaperncks stance.  I pointed out that that wasn't the case.

Decreased crowds & lower ratings support that

Well said Tom.

(A) Tom, since you berated me for misspelling someone's name earlier this week you might be embarrassed for doing the same on this thread.   Personally I dont care.

(B)  I didn't miss anything.   Its not a few crazy conservatives that hate Kaepernick  - its a whole bunch.  About the same number that believe the previous president was an illegal immigrant from Africa (which according to polls accounts for about 40% of people who identify as Republicans).

(C) I've yet to meet a single person that feels insulted by Kaepernick's protests who also feels insulted by Trump's anti-veteran tirades.   They are universally hypocritcal that way.

(D) Our country is largely divided politically.   Celebrites, athletes, and business leaders who openly take sides risk losing a large portion of their customers / fan base as a result.   It takes courage..because it has big consequences.    Kaepernick is experiencing it first hand.   He can decide for himself if he thinks its been worth it.

I don't know anyone who claimed Øbama was an illegal immigrant...and it looks like you believe ONLY conservatives feel insulted by Kap's disrespect for the national anthem and ALL of this nations veterans.

Trump's "anti-veteran tirades" consist of being critical of an Arizona RINO who was involved in trying to frame Trump with the fake dossier.

Kap isn't the only one experiencing losing a fan base. The NFL is rightfully taking a big hit too. Do dumb stuff, lose customers.
