The people of Lebanon are facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation. I am concerned about the security and well-being of civilians suffering in Lebanon and will continue working to help meet the needs of
all civilians there. To that end, the United States will provide nearly $157 million in additional assistance to the people of Lebanon for essential needs such as food, shelter, water, protection, and sanitation to help those who have been displaced by the recent conflict. This additional support brings total U.S. assistance to Lebanon over the last year to over $385 Million.

She clearly knows half of her base is anti Israel, so instead of sending money to North Carolina's dire humanitarian situation, she is sending it to a foreign country to keep those American anti Israel voters happy.

Well, stoooopid, let me explain it to you: North Carolina already has immediate and complete access to federal emergency disaster relief funds. They don't need any additional federal aid beyond the hundreds of millions that FEMA has provided and will provide.

Lebanon has no such access; its government is weak and financially unable to care for its own citizens. Whatever money the country has is sucked up by Hezbollah.

Call this a political move by Harris, but it's better than Diaper Donny visiting them with a roll of paper towels.

        Once again, Lewis proves that he is a crass ass hole. 

And on the other hand, to appease the other 50% of Democrats he sends 20 billion in bombs to level the infrastructure he's sending 385m to help.

Democrat logic of course, anything for a vote, money or fraud.  Build Back Better?

Foreign relations, especially in a time of war, involves diplomacy, nuance, and a careful balancing act. I don't agree with everything that Biden is doing, but it really isn't a black and white situation like you portray, Aaron.

Your version would be where we label one side the good guys fighting for all that is holy and pure and the other side the evil bad guys wearing black hats. It's so childish, you might as well write it in crayon.

But to treat your idiocy with a respect it doesn't deserve---it has to be evident to both sides (over here) that the only way the Middle East shitshow can ever possibly end is if Israel achieves complete and utter dominance over its enemies. Is that the best or most humane solution? No. But Israel is surrounded by fanatical cuckoobirds, terrorist regimes, and unhinged dictatorships. Diplomacy almost always fails miserably.

But here's where I'm going to zoom over your head; look up, and you may dimly understand, much as a caveman might intuit what's going on if he looked up and saw a jet aircraft. Both the United States and Israel understand that the fanatics running Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, etc. etc. etc. are not the people of those areas/nations. None are democracies. The people have no say in what happens.

SOOOOOO...there is no contradiction, practical or moral, in helping an ally pursue a conflict while also helping the civilians who are impacted by that conflict. In fact, one could consider that it's the moral thing to do.
