Kamala Harris’s broadband program faces major delays, fails to deliver

Just another lie this POS has failed to honor - Kamala Harris’s $42 billion high-speed internet plan for rural America has stalled, with no connections made three years after its announcement. Criticism points to burdensome regulations and political favoritism. Key Details: Harris pledged in 2021 to bring broadband to rural America, but no homes or businesses have been connected. Delays and regulations, such as diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) requirements, are slowing progress. Construction may not begin until 2025, leaving many rural communities without access to high-speed internet. Diving Deeper: In a scathing op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, Brendan Carr, a Republican FCC commissioner, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris's $42 billion high-speed internet program aimed at expanding broadband to rural America. Three years after its launch, the program has yet to connect a single home or business. According to Carr, the Biden-Harris administration has allowed its political agenda to bog down what should have been a straightforward infrastructure project - https://mxmnews.com/article/c1ce0057-c66a-4137-9bfb-2db88e0a740f

$40b for broadband & $8b for ev chargers with no results.

Hey, maybe I'll go ahead and read that entire article!

But first tell me why a site owned by Donald Trump Jr is credible under the circumstances. I'll wait.

The article is from the WSJ and is true.

Mp is welcome to post an article showing that these programs are a success

Nope, it's from mxmnews.com, as you can plainly see - and then lie about. Owner: Donald Trump Jr.

MXM is a news aggregator & picked up the story from the WSJ

Try reading the second paragraph   It even links the article

Mp is welcome to show that the feds built more than 7 chargers & actually built out the broadband.

It's not even close to complete, stupid Tom, because Republicans have been trying to delay and defund it.

Stupid Tom

Nope, it's from MXM. It's even labeled an "MXM Exclusive." The headline and the first several sentences - by far the most widely read portion of any news article - are pure MXM.

A little basic Internet Literacy is in order here. If a news or opinion article says, "According to a Harvard study...," your source is NOT Harvard. Do. You. Understand? It's a little silly that I have to get so remedial here.

So once again, please explain to me why a site owned by Donald Trump Jr. is credible under the circumstances.

Apparently clicking on links is skill beyond mp or he ignores articles with facts that don't fit into his preconceived bias.

Yes, I have a preconceived bias that a site owned by Donald Trump Jr. just might be biased against Kamala Harris. Wow, you totally owned me there.
