Kamala’s quote of the day

We have to guard that spirit. Let it always inspire us. Let it always be the source of our optimism - which is that spirit which is so uniquely American. And let that then inspire us by helping us to be
inspired to help solve the problems.

Yeesh, I have a hard time understanding Trump's garbled speech, but what is that?

We have to protect the American Spirit, especially the optimistic part that doesn't allow us to give up,  but to keep moving forward to solve the problems in America.

You're welcome!

Wow, if Kamala Harris is so ineloquent, why is Trump so afraid to debate her again?

The quoted phrase is all just a trick to fool stupid people (see above). Because if you edit a speech and leave out the object of a relative pronoun clause, it will sound always confusing. This includes the previous paragraph and it all becomes clear, doesn't it?

"I believe the source of our success is the ingenuity, the dynamism, and enterprising spirit of the American people.  To paraphrase — (applause).  Yes, it is.  It’s our nature.  It’s our nature.

To paraphrase Warren Buffett: Since the founding of our nation, there has been no incubator for unleashing human potential like America.  And we need to guard that spirit.  (Applause.)  We have to guard that spirit.  Let it always inspire us.  Let it always be the source of our optimism, which is that spirit that is so uniquely American."

And she did repeat a couple of sentences - because she was interrupted with applause.

You actually believe that Aaron made an honest post?

Let's blame the gin!

It's an edited excerpt that leaves out significant contextual elements, including the previous paragraph, which is referred to by a pronoun. Another omission is that she was interrupted by applause and repeated a couple of phrases as a result.

It's actually an inaccurately edited excerpt that is on the verge of being a plain old misquotation. The only person who might have been drunk was the original poster in this thread.
