Yeah, that always struck me as rich. Tucky Buckford voted for Trump and Trump kept Tucky from getting health care.
They're not too bright in Kentucky. In a 2014 poll, a majority said they didn't like Obamacare but they did like Medicaid--even though the latter program is part of the former. DAWWWWWK!
All of the governors that refused the 2014 Medicaid expansion because of some bizarre fealty to ideological purity betrayed their constituents. Who were they to say their constituents couldn't have health care? The issue nearly got Arizona's governor toppled, until she hastily reversed herself after getting tens of thousands of angry letters from her blue-haired constituents--many of whom had been on AZ's Medicaid waiting list for two or more years.
We can expect our Trumpers to chime in here with something like it's all FAKE NOOZE or the election was rigged or Hillary sent emails, or something. I don't know if this is an indicator of things to come. We really don't know (yet) how many Republicans have answered MAGAMAGAMAGAMOMMYMOMMYMOMMYWAAAH! to polls but are secretly disgusted with Trump and don't intend to vote for him or the Republican stooge party. Maybe this result is a bellwether.
There's also another disaffected group, part of which lives in Kentucky--all those coal miners and factory workers that Trump told he was going to turn their lives into Nirvana. Trump's done absolutely nothing for them, except to impose tariffs that resulted in mass layoffs and crippled American industry.
