Knicks or Spurs

Me too.  I'm still going with Al Roker, Weatherman on NBC, who said "The Knicks in six."

It's the most likely outcome, since historically, home teams facing elimination do very well; even if they eventually lose the series, they don't want to go out in front of their fans. Then, the Knicks would exert maximum effort to avoid returning to San Antonio for a decisive Game 7.

The books seem to agree, as the Spurs are -200 to win Game 5. That translates to a two out of three chance of winning.

The Spurs will win the championship if they stave off elimination in Game 5 and Trump shows up at MSG for Game 6.

Wow, give credit to the Knicks for never giving up and winning the Title.  Congrats Knicks Fans, and Tom.

I'm lucky I got busy this afternoon and never got a chance to bet on the Spurs. This was a great series; all the games were very close. The teams were equal as far as I could tell, and both of them ran hot and cold every game. I think the Game 4 collapse was the Spurs' moment of doom.

Now, we get to bake in the sun until football season gets under way.

Edso - thanks. I suffered through many Knick playoff debacles, (to many to list)

Since the Spurs didn't get a lot of national exposure; the country got to see what a dirty team they are, particularly wemby.

They tried to knock Brunson off his game but it didn't work.

The Knicks kept their focus the entire series.

Last point - poorly officiated series, to many strange csllls & non calls. Way to physical, no freedom of movement.

It was obvious they were trying not give another flagrant on wemby.

I believe that I was chastised by making a comment about the fairness of how the refs would oficiate. As you noted, they did as expected and as they have done in the past. The Spurs could have easily won the last 2 games but forgot one basic concept - they failed to put the ball in the hoop.

You said, in a very Trumpy way, that the only way your side could lose is if they were cheated. Is that your take on the result? That the Spurs lost because the refs cheated in the Knicks' favor? Was that "as expected"? And if you're saying that, what's your proof?

I don't think that a team of professional basketball players forgot that the object of the game is to put the ball in the basket. I think you might have forgotten that the other team tries to stop them from doing that.

You should leave the "thinking" to those who actually can think. Now go patronize someone who buys your ego stroking bullshit.

I'm not sure that copy/paste from Facebook, tired clichés, and sophomoric insults qualify as "thinking."
