LA Times editorial board member defends California's slow voting process as 'election integrity' in action

The largest blue state (California) has a bipartisan committee that draws house districts fairly without bias to one party or the other. Same for the second largest blue state (New York)

Incorrect, the democrats in the NYS legislature overruled that and created their own districts favoring the democrats.  The state court (all democrats allowed this)

Florida counts its votes on election day.  Why can't other states do the same.

That includes passing legislation that allows local counties to start counting mail-in ballots 22 days before election day. State law also requires early voting ballots, in most instances, to be completely counted on the day before election day. Results from early voting must also be posted within 30 minutes of the polls closing. Voting by mail is possibly the largest difference between Florida and other states. In Florida, a mail-in ballot has to be received by 7:00 p.m. on election day.

All states should be able to do this.  But in democrat states like Ca it is in their benefit to keep counting ballots long after election or until the democrats win.  In Ca, 3 house seats had the Republicans leading, but a month later they all lost.  Pa tried to do the same in the senate race but the state courts said the democrats couldn't count their illegally cast ballots.

It's no big deal in my book.  No ID required to vote is bullshit.

Those ballots in PA were NOT illegally cast. Not at all. Neither were the ones in CA.

Stupid, stupid MAGA asshole Tom. You worthless piece of crap! Fascist!

Why? Ballots are validated by signatures, not IDs. IDs can be faked.

Also, why should a citizen's right to vote be taken away because he doesn't have government-issued ID? There are a dozen reasons why a citizen in good standing might not have ID.

A picture ID should be used.

Why? An ID by itself doesn't validate a ballot. The signature on the ballot does.

Yes.  An ID and a signature does.  Libs don't want voters to be able to identify themselves.

I'll name a couple, but keep in mind that I don't obey your orders.

Homelessness and/or a lack of a permanent address

Unable to afford the fee for an ID

ID may have expired and cannot be immediately renewed

Now this is where you say yeah, yeah, all those things can be easily fixed. That's beside the point. The people mentioned are still citizens and retain the right to vote.

Stupid fascist Tom.

NOPE. When a ballot is validated and counted, the voter is not present. ID info is NOT copied onto the ballot.
