Last republican president

With mass mail in ballots, will we ever see another republican president ?

I am sure we will.  Although, I am not sure you can call them Republicans anymore. The party isn't made up of small-government conservatives, it is comprised of fascists driven by their belief in white supremacy.

Absolutely....Democrats benefitted quite a bit from Lincoln Project Republicans voting for Joe Biden.

I doubt George Will, Steve Schmidt, and Cindy McCain will be reliable Democrat votes going forward unless Republicans insist on nominating Alt-Right candidates.

An alt-right candidate is the only type of candidate that will make it through the primary. Also, the alt-right is very much so a fascist movement.

There's no reason why mail-in ballots should favor either party. In this instance, Republicans touted the message that staying safe and staying home wasn't bigly manly. Mail-in ballots do allow more people to vote, which Republicans hate.

Trump isn't a Republican. He's some sort of bizarre political mutation.

In 2024, we'll see either Baby Trump or some nutjob neo-fascist run as a "Republican." He'll be an asshole, he'll tweet all the usual dog whistles, and he'll be thronged by adoring armies of supporters. Democrats will carefully select the least appealing candidate from among twenty or so possibilities. And we'll plunge back into the dark times.

I see no reason Republicans can't take advantage uf mail in ballots in the future. They probably would have this year if Trump hadn't labeled them as illegal voting tools. Looking at the numbers (listening pollsters?) that came out, he may have cost himself the elction by doing so.

Well, that's one of maybe a dozen blunders Trump made--unforced errors, as they say in tennis. We should be grateful that he's such a goddamn idiot.

I would like to see internet voting in the future. There's no reason why it couldn't be made at least as safe and secure as paper ballots, and probably more so. After all, most people do their banking online these days--and that requires a similar level of security. Our masters at Google, Microsoft, etc. could easily figure out something. And of course, people should still be able to show up at the polls and stand in line for hours to fill out a paper ballot if they really want to.
