The Latest in Air-Travel

It would seem the airlines are considering yet another innovation to pack more passengers into their airplane cabins, . . . and maybe even allow room for a few more First-Class passengers in real seats: Everybody Wins !

Stand-Up Airline Seat

I would never do stand up flying to save money, but if some folks are clamoring for a bargain, then give 'em what they want.  People complain about Spirit, but they obviously offer a business model that many love.

To each his own.

Actually, I've taken flights from Indy to Chicago on Southwest a few times.    They barely have enough time to get you a drink.  As soon as you hit cruising altitude they being the descent.

So for flights like that I'd be happy to save $20 to stand for 40 minutes.    But certainly not for anything over an hour.

My rear end hurts just looking at it.  Skyrider my a**.  Ouch!  Hope that idea doesn't 'fly.'

Does anyone believe that the government should prevent such flights?
