I would never do stand up flying to save money, but if some folks are clamoring for a bargain, then give 'em what they want. People complain about Spirit, but they obviously offer a business model that many love.

Actually, I've taken flights from Indy to Chicago on Southwest a few times. They barely have enough time to get you a drink. As soon as you hit cruising altitude they being the descent.
So for flights like that I'd be happy to save $20 to stand for 40 minutes. But certainly not for anything over an hour.
My rear end hurts just looking at it. Skyrider my a**. Ouch! Hope that idea doesn't 'fly.'
