But to answer my own question, I think these poll results MAY stem from Biden's recent popular legislative victories, plus the abortion ruling, plus Trump's recent difficulties. Or maybe this one poll was just an outlier. We'll have to wait and see.

biden won the election by hiding in basement. He rarely answers questions (even the Easter Bunny protects him) & even rarer gives interviews Now he has been out of sight for 6 weeks, his numbers go up. See the correlation?

Some don't want to campaign with Biden because his approval rating is still underwater. (I bet tom the infant is amazed that someone could admit to something negative about someone on his side.)
And because of gerrymandering, Biden is even less popular in swing districts. But there's good news! Congressional Democrats are currently MUCH more popular than Congressional Republicans. And you can take that to the bank in November. The overall vote for Congressional Democrats will far surpass those for Republicans.
Will it be enough to overcome gerrymandering? I don't know.
