I do like the articles about MAGA folks who voted for Trump, and now his policies are destroying their businesses or denying them benefits. All of them say the same thing, "I supported his plan to reduce federal government spending, but I didn't mean the federal money that I get!"
It's funny.
There appears to be a real groundswell of resentment among rural MAGAs who are suddenly finding it's a two-hour drive to the hospital or a three-month wait to see a dentist. When interviewed, many of those red-state goobers appear to have truly thought that Trump would take away federal funding from blue states but leave their states alone. And many of them didn't understand that Medicaid is a federally funded program and their benefits aren't written in stone, but rather, depend on budget decisions made every year by Congress.
As I've said before, the silver lining in all this Trump-shit is that millions of people are learning what happens when you vote for MAGA--and they'll remember that next year, and in 2028.
