Proof, Davey-poo?

Mr Lewis, these are the real numbers for the county I reside in:

Mohave County has 1362 covid cases after 12/24 (the county doesn't report on holidays or weekends) The report dates are December 28, 29,30 and 31.

The sales tax for restaurants/bars in Mohave County cities close to Laughlin are  lower than you state.

Kingman AZ:  9.35 % ------ Lake Havasu City AZ:  8.85% ------ Bullhead City AZ:  7.85%

Mohave County has never had a mask mandate. The three cities mentioned here all had mask mandates that they let expire.

I wish I could get accurate covid case numbers for Laughlin NV, but I haven't been able to find anything current. With the Mohave County numbers skyrocketing we've quit going to Laughlin and stopped going to Vegas after our June 26 trip was cut short because we didn't feel safe there.

I used the numbers from Mohave County's Twitter feed as of Dec. 29. The number I reported was NEW cases and deaths.

All I know is that last January, I ate several times in Bullhead City and the sales tax was 11%. I got hit for 21% in Parker (why was my $5 lunch actually $6? I asked).

The two zip codes that encompass Laughlin reported 204 cases as of Dec. 31.
