Layoffs Reach New Highs In January

The highest since the Great Recession or as Trump would put it more proof his tarrifs have been an incredible success and that we are living in the land of milk and honey right now thanks to Trump.  Trump's tarrifs have been a complete disaster for this country

Big companies aren't moving production to the US and other countries have lost interest in doing business with us.  China is filling the gaps. And I've got news for you folks, Chinese products, particularly electronics, are so far superior to American products that we will never get those people back. 

We are seeing a total global realignment where America is no longer the top dog. In fact we have become a third rate country that people don't want to visit and do business with. Trump sure has made China Great Again and greater than it has ever been.

I just wish that the unfolding economic disaster only affected MAGAs. They deserve to suffer and die, but we don't.

There's a bitter irony in that the country that Trump has always had the biggest hard-on for is the one that's profiting the most from his idiocy.

The silver lining is that even the loyal red state goobers are beginning to sour on the Turd's economic miracle. The blue wave is, by all early indications, going to be massive.

But as you say, by the time we get rid of the Orange Fuckfsce, irreversible damage will have been done.

He was handed a golden economy with a booming jobs market,.....and its now collapsing.   Just like his first term.

Yet he's able to convince about 40% of the population that the economy is booming.  If your only economic index is the price of gasoline, it's easy.

I remember Tom saying Biden's 250k/month job creation was subpar.     He also said the unemployment number was a fake statistic.   Now Tom thinks 50k/month is just dandy. ...and he's pointing to Trump's higher unemployment number as success.   

And I think thats pretty funny.

1.46 million jobs added in 2024 (Biden). 181,000 jobs added in 2025 (Trump).

400,000 govt jobs were added in 2024 while there was a decline of 300,000 of fed jobs in 25.
