Let's Talk About The Republican Plan To Default On The Debt Unless Social Security & Medicare Are Gutted

Republicans are already making plans to take hostages if they win the House. The are going to demand that Medicare and Social Security be gutted or they are going cause the US government to default.

For all you cons complaining about the economy what do you think this will do to it? If inflation is the number one problem people are worried about, as you claim, how is making sure Grandma and papaw can't afford groceries and prescription drugs going to help?

Please produce a verifiable link to the assertions you are making concerning the "gutting" of Medicare and Social Security.

David, Republican leaders think you are living too high on the hog. They think it's time you cut back.

Your pal Kevin McCarthy confirmed yesterday that this in fact the Republican plan.

David, the people you vote for think you have it too good.

BTW: Rick, Skeletor, Scott and Ron's Johnson have been saying this all along.

I read the articles you posted and in neither one of them did I read where Republican leaders "demand that Medicare and Social Security be gutted". Your post is just another fact twisting lie that you seem to enjoy posting. The people YOU voted for are the ones ruining America.

Yes the WP says "force" instead of demand. I apologize for using softer language than the guys you are going to vote for.  Demand makes them seem less extreme. So, are you going to vote to cut your own pay?

With intellectuals like Herschel Walker and the Jewish-Space-Laser lady I think we should expect nothing but great ideas.

There are some legitimate reforms to be made.    If they want means testing for Social Security so Patrick Mahones doesnt get a Social Security check - I am ok with that.  And if they want to raise the limit to which incomes pay into the Social Security pool - I am ok with that too.

Historically plans put fourth by Republicans make it so wealthy people get better benefits....or they propose to let Myrill Lynch run the Social Security fund.    But I'm open to good ideas if they have any.

Yup. Qevin and his gang of traitors want to hold up the debt limit for cuts in SS and Medicare.

And they want to end aid to Ukraine to help out tRump's good buddy Vlad.

I get a kick out of David and other retirement age conservatives voting to cut their income while complaining about inflation.

Oh, they wont cut David's benefits.   Thats the other chicken-shit attribute of their historical efforts:  Only Fuck over  the younger people who dont vote.

Oh they go after the olds too but they are sly about it.  They are always trying to tinker with the formula for the annual cost of living adjustment. David should be getting a big raise next year. Republicans want to make sure that never happens again. Then on the Medicare side you will see some adjustments that will mean Seniors paying more out of pocket.

Don't forget the only SS plan the Republicans published calls for sunsetting SS funding in five years.  That would definitely impact David if he is still kicking.
