The United States has released more than 2.3 million migrants at the border since 2021, according to news reports. So for three years — free rent, food, phone and health insurance. The taxpayers have to pay for all of this free stuff. It totals billions of our money. Yes, billions. So tell me how anyone us still voting Democratic. You might want to read what US law requires when someone shows up at the US border or in the US requesting asylum.  In a nutshell, we are required to allow them to stay until they get a hearing and then until their appeals process is exhausted. All the crap coming out of the pie holes of conservative politicians and the conservative media about Biden doing nothing about immigration is nothing more than bullshit. Biden has to follow the law.

The limit is 50,000 PER YEAR.  That means we reached our cap already for 2024.

Nope, there is a distinction between a refugee and someone seeking Asylum. Read the entire article.  There is no cap on people seeking asylum. We don't arrest people for misdemeanor offenses.  If you are concerned about losing them before their hearing you should be enraged over Abott's shipping them out of the area they crossed in.  That guarantees the government will lose track of them and they will miss their hearings in Texas.
