Liberal racism once more on display.

Libs won't be able to see the obvious double standard, because they are blind to certain truths.

I am not sure how you see racism here. I agree this was a miscarriage of justice but it occurred because the police were able to successfully suppress the video of the incident for three years. They couldn't do that in the Floyd case because a private individual recorded the footage.

I think you should advocate for new laws that require police to release the footage when police are involved in fatalities within 72 hours so further miscarriages of justice like the one you linked to don't occur.

Police suppressing evidence in cases like these is the standard operating procedure. It shouldn't take injecting a racial element to get you worked up about an unjust process.

The "double standard" you refuse to see here is obvious. George Floyd was Black and because he was, Minneapolis was burned, looted, and destroyed by rioters, who were whipped into a frenzy by the media. With Timpa being White, there was no burning, looting and/or destroying Dallas. Bad cops in both instances. I personally do not agree with the behavior of the cops in either instance. I wonder just where the media was when this happened in Dallas? Apparently this incident did not have enough "social injustice" implications to warrant the media going into their patented frenzy.  Saying the police "successfully suppressed" the camera footage has not been proven to have been done by the police. Granted, the footage was not released apparently for almost 3 years, but did the police suppress the release or was the release of the footage done by some other department or person? This fact needs to be clarified before anyone jumps to conclusions.

It is because there was no video of the incident. The police sat on to it for three years. If there wouldn't have been a video taken by a bystander in the Floyd case the story would have been spun into something like a suspect in police custody dies from drug overdose complications and nobody would have heard any more of it.

How do you know the police held the video?  Do you have proof of this? When you have proof, post it. Until then you need to refrain from making such a statement that you currently can not back up.

I read the article he linked to. It says police didn't release the body camera footage until almost three years later.

I read the article also - no where does it specifically say that the police withheld the footage. Get your lies straight, you are not talking to one of your brain addled liberal cronies.

David, it is obvious you don't do anything other than read the inflammatory headlines.

The media tried to obtain that video for years but the police refused.

Proof

According to the video, the CITY withheld the video. No where in the video does it say the POLICE withheld the video. I believe that YOU are the one who read's the "inflamatory headlines".--- I just watched another video of this incident. If one looks closely you will see that the policeman had his knee on the right side of his mid back and his hands on his shoulders. Timpa was breathing and did speak before the paramedic gave him the shot. Everything went downhill from that point on. The police did keep Timpa from rolling into the street and restrained him. I believe that if Timpa had not been given the shot he would have been alright. The attitude of some of the cops was/is deplorable - though some of them seemed to be concerned for his well being. It is possible that the police did withhold the video, but that has not been clarified. Here is the video --https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c-E_i8Q5G0

David embarrasses himself when he reads a headline or a caption and rushes to his computer to post yet another rant about liberals--without even reading his own "source."
