Life after Trump

We all should be thinking about what life in the US will be like once Trump is in prison. One thing that will happen is that all of the racist, bigoted, idiotic, treasonous scum who worship Trump will need a new idol. They crawled out from under the rocks they were hiding under for so long, put on MAGA hats, and joyfully screamed out stupid slogans at Trump's hate rallies. Aren't they going to miss all that? They're all psychos, most of them have guns, and many of them are dangerous. We can't just round up all of them, nail them into crates, and ship them to North Korea. And Jurassic Park doesn't actually exist, so we can't turn them into T-Rex food.

The sad fact is that we'll have to live alongside and among these people. How will we (the decent people) feel, knowing that one out of every three persons we meet is a (former) Trumper? How dangerous will they be? Will there be an even greater epidemic of mass shootings as enraged Trumpers try to wipe out a school full of Hispanic children or execute a bus full of immigrants?

There's a precedent for this. The Allies, in 1945-6, required every German to fill out a long questionnaire, called the Fragebogen, about their activities and lives during the Hitler era. That info was to be used to determine if, for example, a German could get a civil service job or teach at a university.

If we administered a similar questionnaire post-Trump, we could identify the most rabid Trumpers and deny them jobs, housing, or medical care. We might let them clean up city parks and live in a tent encampment or something. They'd only be getting what they deserve.

You see, the problem isn't really Trump--it's Trumpers. In a more advanced nation, he'd have about fifteen followers. If we're going to evolve as a society, we have to cleanse the Trumper filth from our country. I'm sure that some of them can be saved, but the rest--well, Greenland is still a viable option.

Cue the usual bleating from our Trumpers. Stalker, call me stupid. Insult me. You know you want to. You know you can't help yourself. Do it now while you still can. We're coming to take away your guns!!!

Sad, you really are sad. Get some professional help.

Kevin has gone too far.  Round up your political opposition and put them in concentration camps?   Why is this Hate Speech allowed here?  He claims Republicans are Nazis and Trump is Treasonous all while spewing hatred that would make Hitler proud.  The guy is a nut and any democrats here that agree with his below comments need to rethink where their party is headed.

Charles, I have been saying that about Kevin for weeks - his hatred for President Trump is something he can not deal with. We who post here should not be subjected to his daily rants and abusive language. I believe that Kevin has real issues and is not happy unless he has someone to berate and look down upon. Look around, how many of those who used to post here do you now see? He has run them off and will not be happy til he runs off everyone who dares to disagree with his twisted viewpoints. His behavior should not be allowed - it is just wrong.

Even his Vegas posts are either insulting to people or snarky.

If Stalker is correct (and his being correct about anything is unlikely, to say the least), then the rabid conservative Trumper wingnuts who used to infest this section of the forums have gone elsewhere to spew their conspiracy theories and express their worship of Trump. That's a good thing, and if true, I applaud it!

Stalker has been posting nasty filth for years. As for my criticism of Trump--he's said much worse things about Obama, the Clintons, Pelosi, and generally anyone who's been attacked on Twitter by Trump. The difference between me and Stalker is that my opinions are my own. The opinions that Stalker expresses are just recycled Fox News dung. His bigotry and conservative extremism infect everything he says.

The Trumper crudballs here don't like that I'm here to point out their treasonous lies. They used to have the run of this forum and used it to trade hate speech back and forth and report whatever nonsensical crap Trump had just tweeted, as if it were gospel truth. They would regularly jump on and attack anyone who dared to express an opposing viewpoint. They were bullies, just like Trump.

In any event, I have a life, and these people don't, beyond sitting and drooling at Fox News. They'll be swept into history's garbage bin sooner or later. I'm looking forward to the time when we don't have our newspapers, airwaves, and public discourse filled with Trumper hate, lies, and treason.

More of the same from know-it-all Kevin - never wrong (just ask him) and still delusional. Yawn....

"In any event, I have a life" which seems to consist of nasty political posts 24/7 on a gambling web site. 

No matter how Trump leaves office resignation, removal or an epic 2020 defeat things will change for the better. All of the neo-confederates, neo-nazis, white nationalists, klansmen, misogynists and pussy grabbers will be forced back into the closet where they belong. This time we need to make sure we lock the door so they can't get back out. 

What to do about the Trumpers?  As much as I'd like to deport them, I'd be happy if they just managed to adopt a little humility. If Republicans want to be the party of personal responsibility they should lead by example. They elected the worst president ever one who committed numerous crimes while running for office and while in office.  One who put his business interests ahead of America's interests. They should take responsibility for that and admit they lack good judgment, good values and are just all around ill-informed. They should make it a point to be well-read and educate themselves about issues rather than just lapping up whatever drips out of Sean Hannity's anus as the truth. They need to quit participating in conspircy theory mongering and quickly condemn conspiracy theories when they come out. They need to acknowledge their role in or unwillingness to condemn conspiracy theories has made their voters stupid.  

Of course, I am a realist. Democrats are going to have to grow a spine and be willing to kick conservatives in the teeth (figuratively) when they are down.  I don't want to hear any of this both sides crap or BS about reconciliation.  Republicans need to spend a significant amount of time in the wilderness. Whenever any Republican officer holder that defended Trump goes on TV or runs for reelection, they need to have their nose held to the ground and smeared into the mess they made.
