Ivanka Trump sent hundreds of emails last year to White House aides, Cabinet officials and her assistants using a personal account, many of them in violation of federal records rules, according to people familiar with a White House examination of her correspondence.

White House ethics officials learned of Trump’s repeated use of personal email when reviewing emails gathered last fall by five Cabinet agencies to respond to a public records lawsuit. That review revealed that throughout much of 2017, she often discussed or relayed official White House business using a private email account with a domain that she shares with her husband, Jared Kushner.

Some aides were startled by the volume of Ivanka Trump’s personal emails — and taken aback by her response when questioned about the practice. Trump said she was not familiar with some details of the rules, according to people with knowledge of her reaction.

And did you read that part about her having her own domain and own email server? According to the conservatives here and elsewhere, that sort of exotic technological setup is something only a cunning criminal genius could pull off. As they professed many times, nobody goes to the trouble of setting up a technological marvel like that unless they are doing so because they want the large-scale criminal enterprise they are running to evade detection.  Yes, I think two years of investigations and a twenty-year Federal prison sentence is appropriate in this case as that is what conservatives everywhere have been saying for the last five or six years about this type of brazen crime perpetrated by a hardcore criminal.  

Any minute I expect Boilerman to drop by and guarantee an inditement of Ivanka for her crime spree.  

She should call Hillary and find out where to get BleachBit...

He would suggest an immediate cessation of pay, but she has served as an unpaid Government employee so that penalty is unavailable.

There is no legal penalty Ivanka or Hillary is subject to.   They broke a policy not a law.   It’s a lot like someone breaking the dress code at work by wearing shorts.   You might  be subject to a good hand slapping from your boss but it’s not something you could be arrested for.

but the alt-right crowd would beg to differ - including their leader in the White House and father of the latest perpetrator.

Um...it does? Perhaps DonDiego can shed some light on the government policy that makes exceptions for private email accounts administrated by Google vs private email accounts administrated by a private server. I am not aware of such policy. I see nothing in your opinion piece that says as much either. Please, set the record straight.
