The government has been funded except for immigration enforcement. What a bunch of losers they could have ended the shutdown weeks ago by simply taking a vote on what they just passed.

Has any MAGA moron "pundit" tried to explain why mail-in ballots are BAD BAD BAD except when submitted by the military, in which case they're GOOD GOOD GOOD? Can't those folks on the aircraft carrier commit wastefraudabuse?

I don't even know what their latest problem was. They could have passed it long ago, so what was stopping them? Some apostates didn't want to fund the Trumpstapo?

I suppose I'm old enough to remember when the purpose of mail-in ballots was just that...for military and other reasons one actually could not make it to the polls on election day.  Like everything else it became common practice for anybody, made voting a lot easier, which I never saw as a bad thing.  

 The "not such a bad thing" you state turned into a tool used by the corrupt DemocRATs in the 2020 Presidential election - and you now fully realize the effect of allowing massive mail in ballot late night/am vote counting  that resulted in the worst President being fraudlently "elected" with the resulting worst 4 years in American history of corrupt governing. President Trump warned before the 2020 election that mail -in - voting would ruin an honest election proceedure - and he was right.
