The LVRJ editorial staff loses its mind

Of what value is an opinion column, especially from a rabidly conservative newspaper? I could quote Wayne Allen Root from the LVRJ any day of the week, and he'd be telling us that Trump is the greatest most bestest wonderfulest President in the history of the galaxy and that he's a stable genius.

Many independent evaluators, such as PolitiFact, have identified Trump as the most prolific liar in the history of the Presidency. This is your cue to sneer and say that they are therefore obviously biased and LIBURRUL FAKE NOOZE. However, they fact-check politicians on all sides of the political spectrum. And yes, yes, yes, they did so for Obama and Clinton etc. etc. etc.

But your choice of "sources" tells me that you're only going to believe what you want to hear. Saying that Trump is a liar isn't a partisan statement--it's a simple fact. But Trumpers will continue to deny it, because to admit it would be to confess that they've been supporting a liar for 2+ years.

Bob posted this----What he said was: “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done"------ Inferring that the statement posted as being "racist" is bogus. Nowhere did he say "foreign countries". Nowhere is there anything said alluding to race. How can one state truthfully that they know the President "regarded them solely in terms of their color"?   The only ones "jumping to conclusion" are those who choose to twist and distort reality to suit their liberal agendas. The content stated is clear - go clean up your own house before you come and tell me how to clean up mine.

Your own statement was that san fran & detroit are in good fiscal shape.   I showed you that they are not.

Imagine you have 25 years experience in your job. A new guy comes in with no experience and immediately begins running circles around you. You had your boss convinced there were legitimate reasons for not getting things done. And the new guy does it anyway. Imagine your resentment, fear and bitterness over potential loss of job and power.   Now you know why Washington hates President Trump.

From May 2019 : "Each Chicago taxpayer is on the hook for $119,110 worth of unfunded state, city, county and other local government debt. Many of the pensions driving those debts become Lori Lightfoot’s problem on Monday"

Ref: Illinois Policy

The breakdown:

". . . . . our Financial State of the Cities report released earlier this year found that Chicago ranked No. 74 out of the 75 most populous U.S. cities with a Taxpayer Burden of -$36,000, which is each taxpayer’s share of municipal debt. Only New York City fared worse with a Taxpayer Burden of -$64,100.

However, when you combine the debt of these underlying government entities, the county, the city, and the state, Chicago’s Taxpayer Burden skyrockets to -$119,110, while New York City’s Taxpayer Burden rises to -$85,600."

Ref: Taxpayers on the Hook

DonDiego notes Chicago taxayers can nullify their portion of the debt by removing themselves form the subject metropolis.  If/when a sufficient number of citizens do so city bankruptcy looms.  And expectant pensioners approaching reitrement may be very, very, very dissapointed.

Oh !  Oh !  Oh !

Poor old DonDiego can report that Illinois and Chicago residents are already leaving the State and City:

" . . . U.S. census data show[ed] that the Chicago metro area lost another 22,000 residents from 2017 to 2018. In total numbers and in percentage change, the drop here exceeded comparatively smaller losses in New York and Los Angeles."

"While Cook County’s net migration has been negative for at least 27 years, more people also have left than entered the collar counties, taken together, in every year since 2011. That reverses a previous trend of robust population growth in Chicago’s suburbs."

"Statewide data released in December had Illinois losing population for the fifth year in a row, down 45,000 residents from 2017 to 2018. This Illinois spiral is part of a broader population slide from high-tax states to those with business climates more welcoming to employers."

Bob Orme asked, "Why doesn't the MSM broadcast these so-called "similar views"? Are these guys hiding?"

That is the wrong question. You need to ask why you beloved Fox News and other conservative media are giving the squad so much coverage.

NEW YORK — Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's name is on the lips of nearly everyone at Fox News.

A study found that the New York City Democrat was mentioned 3,181 times on Fox News Channel and its sister Fox Business Network during the six-week period of Feb. 25 to April 7, or just under 76 times a day. Not a day went by when she wasn't spoken about on Fox.  Source

Here is the answer if you can't figure it out. The conservative media love the squad because they serve as the perfect scapegoats.  Covering long-serving old white male congressmen that have similar views, doesn't have the same panty torquing effect on conservative viewers that coving "scary" brown and black women do.

Bob Orme asked, "How could he "follow" him to an area BEFORE Kevin started posting his rants here in the Kitchen Sink?"

I believe the issue was David followed him to the front end of the site after he started posting in the kitchen sink.  David would post his rants in the comments under the Las Vegas articles Kevin wrote.

Quote Mark--"I believe the issue was David followed him to the front end of the site after he started posting in the kitchen sink.  David would post his rants in the comments under the Las Vegas articles Kevin wrote." -------------------- Mark speaks about something he knows nothing about. The REAL story --- I had never heard of or replied to anything Kevin posted until he started writing on his now defunct blog for the Advisor. I commented to one of his postings and he took umbridge. Somehow he obtained my e-mail address (talk about stalking) and sent me this e-mail-- "I've blocked you, you ignorant sack of shit. Now go have sex with your Trump blow-up doll"-----I reported this to the Advisor staff, and shortly thereafter Kevin's blog was removed. It is true that I have followed him in the "kitchen sink" since then. I will continue to read his postings. As anyone here knows who has been following the comments in the "kitchen sink" since Kevin has been active, he has been the common demoninator in many discussions with not only my self but with several others. You can draw your own conclusions as to why these "discussions" have been ongoing. Just like the Washington Post, Mark should first get his facts straight before besmurching someone else.

My brother left the Chicago area and Illinois two years ago, mainly because of the fanancial situation in Illinois........high taxes and concern of state and city bankruptcy.  His best friend did the same.  My brother just moved into a newly constructed $1.5 million home...............I'll be making my second visit on November 7 with my two boys.   His friend is building a $2.0 million dollar home within several miles of my brother.  I suspect that Chicago and Illinois would  benefit from keeping my brother and his friend within the state of Illinois.

I normally will not respond to anything Stalker writes, but he is lying and knows he is lying.

I quit writing my blog voluntarily. It was NOT removed by AC or anyone else.

Anyone who doesn't believe me, ask AC.

It's true that Stalker was obsessed with me long before I started posting here, and would often post insane Trumper shit in the comments to the posts on my blog. Fortunately, I had the ability to delete the vomit that Stalker wrote, so most of it never saw the light of day. But I had to do so over 200 times. He truly was, and truly is, obsessed about me.
