David, all of Western Europe, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, and others have done just fine with Socialism.  Meanwhile, unbridled capitalism has destroyed most of South America, Central America, Africa and a lot of Asia at one time or another. See David the dirty little secret of capitalism is that capitalists need cheap labor to exploit and cheap natural recourses to succeed.  Traditionally, they set up in countries that can't defend themselves and proceed to rape the native population and strip them of their natural resources. They leave those countries a polluted devastated mess usually with a non-functional government. Then the dumb old capitalists can't understand why people flee those countries U.S. corporations destroyed often with the help of the U.S. government and cross illegally into the U.S.

Why did you stop your blog posting? Why did you delete them?

I was tired of having to scrub clean all of the Trumper comments from Stalker and others, most of which had nothing to do with the topic of the blog post. I was in general sick and tired of the personal attacks. Bottom line, I wasn't enjoying writing the blog any more.

I deleted the existing posts because I considered them my intellectual property and might at some point in the future use them as a basis for a book.

This is where some Trumper--probably Stalker--chimes in with an insult and/or a baseless lie.

Let's clear one thing up. In a socialist system, the community/government controls the means of production, exchange, and distribution. That is not the case in Canada or Western Europe--private enterprise does those things, as is the case in the US. What Canada and Western Europe actually have is social democracy, wherein the government's role is to promote democratic socialism. The distinction is explained rather well in the corresponding Wikipedia entry:

Ask Venezuelans how much they enjoy Socialism. 

Ask Salvadorans how much they enjoy Capitalism. A lot of them are on their way here so you can ask them when they arrive.

Stalker is such a loyal Trumper that he uses Trump-style capitalization. Really, Trump should send him a lollipop.

And Stalker is lying when he pretends not to comprehend the topic, which is a comparison between capitalism and socialism in regard to the fortunes of countries. But such pretense is on Page 1 of the lying Trumper handbook. It only has one page--they can't read anything longer than that. In fact, Stalker had to have it read to him.

Focus, Kevin. The question I asked was "Ask Venezuelans how much they enjoy Socialism". A direct question, asking for a direct answer. Nothing more, nothing less. Mark chose the Lying Liberal handbook page 3 response. Your response is on page 1 of the same handbook - "How to respond to clear, logical questions that you can not defend with truthful, factual answers". A). Label the questioner a liar.- B).Question the mentality of the questioner., and C). If all else fails, blame President Trump and his supporters while debasing their mentality.
