President Trump asked the crowd to 'peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Anyone who ignored the 'peaceful' part should suffer some consequences.
15 minutes into his speech, he said, ""I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard,""
55 minutes later, he ended it with, ""We fight. We fight like hell, and if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore. So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.""
If you're giving a speech and you want your audience to take specific action, would you place that message at the beginning or the end of your speech?
The answer is at the end. He used "peacefully" for cover, then he told MAGA what they wanted to hear at the end, "go fight, or you'll lose your country.
As to the pardons, I would have taken them on a case-by-case basis.
Trump didn't, because he didn't care about justice, he wanted to take care of the people who would "fight like hell" for him. A disgrace to the Presidency of the United States.
I don't blame all of MAGA for the actions of a few, I blame them for dismissing Jan 6th and then voting for the one person who made it happen.
