David missed the point too. Roseanne made an awful racist statement on Twitter. Just prior to that racist tweet she made a few anti-Semitic tweets. Rather than simply condem those remarks David and Tom want make it about someone else. They want to create a false sense that someone else is just as bad. In their minds it is unfair to condem Roseanne because someone else is just as bad.
It's ok. I get it. It is literally a case of monkey see monkey do. Their leader equates a conservative group chanting, "Jews will not replace us" as equally bad as a group of peacful protesters. He says Mexicans are rapeists. He refers to countries where black and brown people are from as shitholes. It is true apples do rot from the core.
