Perhaps not, but this kind of insanity and terrorism did happen in El Paso, Texas, in 2019.  But he was a right-wing nut who hated Latinos.  Perhaps you don't see it as "insanity" because you are sympathetic to his beliefs.

It'll happen in Texas--AGAIN. Children have died in Texas in mass MAGA attacks. And in a viciously bigoted turd-hole where everybody is soaked in gun love, it's routine.

 Imagine if those people in France who were being attacked had access to a gun....

Then there would have been twice as many deaths.
