Many El Salvador prisoners weren't gang members

Trump Administration lied. GO figure.

The election denier in chief said he omly sent gang members and criminals to the El Salvadore prison.    ANd what we are finding out now is many of the people  were no such thing.   THe admistration was using tattoos as their criteria for identifying gang members....and they werent gang tattoos....just any tattoo.

She said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement accused Barrios of belonging to the Tren de Aragua gang because of his tattoos. He has a tattoo on his arm with a soccer ball and a crown on top, with a rosary.

“DHS alleges that this tattoo is proof of gang membership,” Tobin said. “In reality, he chose this tattoo, because it is similar to the logo for his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid.”

MAGA doesnt care that people with no criminal record are being sent to a dystopian prison with the most violent offenders on the planet.    Make sure yopu understand that when your friendly neighborhood MAGA asshole tells you he doesnt  hate immigrants

She said Barrios was in the US illegally, adding that his tattoos “are consistent with those indicating” Tren de Aragua membership.

Here's a big epiphany for MAGA.   Spokespeople for the DHS dont determine innocence or guilt in our country.  We have a due process in the judicial system that does that.

Tricia McLaughlin is keeping all of the details of the detainees secret beyond their names.   

Many of the people have no criminal history.    Nor are they indicted for a crime.    Thats what the Trump administration is calling "the worst of the worst".   

Its a big secret.   And its alot of bullshit.

  If you enter the United States illrgally, you are a criminal and subject to removal from the United States - all other misleading dialogue can not change that fact. This is no "secret". 

And those who were deported were, with a couple of exceptions, here legally.

In any case, that should have been determined by due process of law, not, "OOOOO, you have a tattoo, let's stuff you on a plane."

So then, you would be OK with someone who isn't a judge, let alone being connected with the legal system in any way, pronouncing you an icky brown person and dragging you away? Would you? Be honest for once, stupid Tom.
