What percentage of people where you live are wearing masks when they're supposed to? Here in Portland, there's a reimposed indoor and outdoor mask mandate, and I'm surprised and pleased to see virtually 100% compliance. These are good, decent, responsible people.
Obviously, if you're so unfortunate as to live in one of those brain-dead blood-red no-mask Trumper states, my question will be unanswerable.
Employees everywhere, (Walmart, Walgreens, stores of all kinds, fast food places) 100% compliance.
Customers, it depends. When there is a sign on the door requiring mask, 100%. No sign, I'd guess 75%.
My pizza place, you can't get in the door without a mask before being yelled at. Big sign, unmistakable meaning, and they pay attention. One of the few that actually speaks up when someone enters without a mask. Other places, I complain to management but they just shrug their shoulders. In a way can't blame them, because the 'rules' have gone back and forth, unclear.
TV news media seem determined to feature on the 6 o'clock news at least one story (usually a woman...why is that?) screeching that their rights are violated if made to wear a mask or take the covid vaccine. Sheesh.
