Sweet Old Bob supports the "right" of lunatics to commit mass murder whenever they've been watching too much Fox News, or when they're fed up with life. (He doesn't understand that the Second Amendment does not grant the right to kill hundreds of people.) I would expect that when a shooter opens up in his neighborhood, he'll stand right there in the middle of the street and not run for cover. After all, it's the shooter's Second Amendment right to kill random strangers.
And Sweet Old Bob may not want to acknowledge that the NRA's appeal is waning because of their extremism and their culpability in dozens of mass shootings, but that's the case nonetheless.
