Matt Gaetz Hits Rock Bottom

As Air Force One rolled down a runway at Orlando Sanford International Airport on Monday, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., a last-minute passenger on the presidential aircraft, got a message from his chief of staff.

Gaetz, who had appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, on Feb. 27, had taken a photograph with someone who was later determined to have been carrying the coronavirus, his chief of staff’s message said.

By late Monday afternoon, Gaetz left Washington by private vehicle.

“I couldn’t stay in a hotel,” he said from the car as he arrived in Okaloosa County at mid-morning Tuesday, where he plans to spend the remainder of his self-imposed quarantine.

Instead, he said, “I slept in a Walmart parking lot somewhere off (Interstate) 85.”

My point is that one of Trump's top congressional cheerleaders has to sleep in a Wal-Mart parking lost because of Trump's failed policies. You would think that there would be a place in DC to keep quarantined officials so the government could continue to operate if the infection becomes widespread in DC. Given the number of government officials exposed at CPAC and AIPAC, it could very well happen.

I'm surprised Trump hasn't thought of leasing one of his wonderful hotels to the government for that purpose. Luxury rooms packed with hand sanitizer for $1,599 a night! Room service for all quarantined personnel! Trump could write himself a bigly check every week!

Gaetz is like Trump's remaining slavish moron lackeys. He doesn't fathom that being loyal to Trump doesn't ensure that you'll be repaid for it. More often, it just means that you get fucked in the ass after you bend over for Trump.
