I thought we didn't need a border wall? What good will that do? For years they've been telling us walls don't work, right? After a cumulative 7+ million migrant crossings with assorted forms of nefarious baggage, these D guys finally looked at the citizen polling and the results of the aftermath? Oh wait..it's now an election year. Gotta be the reason for this turnabout...holding onto power and all that..appease the current electorate sentiments. In a month ( or much less) there'll be press conferences from Democrats portending to describe all their current total efforts to actually secure the border, albeit about three years too late. Soon, we'll perhaps hear about enacted processes and programs to allow all the migrants to cast votes in the election..which imo is/was the ultimate goal/plan for the entire border fiasco. And it just might work, unfortunately.

1. 80 percent of the so-called ILLEGULS entered the US perfectly legally. Those people are here on work or student visas that expired. So the conservitard meme of BILLYUNS UV ILLEGULS A'FLOODIN' 'CROSS DA BORDER is nonsense. As is the so-called "need" for a border wall.
2. A physical border wall is utterly pointless unless it can't be breached or crossed, and the only way to achieve that is to constantly patrol it. Do we really want to fortify and man 2,000+ miles of anti-Mexican Maginot Line?
3. We don't WANT to slam the border closed. That would be in nobody's interest. You don't like inflation? Just see what you get if we choke off the supply of goods from Mexico.
