What's getting lost in the shuffle is the imminence of the RepubliQ government shutdown...coming to a country near you! What are the chances that even if they do manage to elect a speaker, that the Idiot Caucus will abandon their "burn it all down" goals and actually vote to pay our bills? Essentially zero. So we'll continue to have a non-functional government.
This is what happens in banana republics--and in countries where radical conservatism has hijacked the will of the people. We need to strip the RepubliQ of all power. Fortunately, they seem to have a very strong and irreversible self-destruct urge.
Anybody out there who would normally vote for these clowns but is rethinking it? We can fix things in 2024!
