He may want to reread that case he is quoting. All that case says is that if local law enforcement wants to investigate someone's immigration status they may do so. However, there is no obligation for them to do so.

IMO it would be foolish to expect state and local law enforcement to drop investigating crimes to go look for illegals.

But I am sure Abbott will get right on it in Texas right? All he would have to do is send the troops to construction sites all over Texas as on average 60% of the crew on Texas construction sites would be illegals. It would be like shooting 🐟 in a barrel. So when is Abbott gonna start?

 If you are really interested in having Gov. Abbott answer your question, ask him.

Dude, they don't even have to 'go look' for criminal illegals that are released back into the community after serving time in jail and prisons in 'Sanctuary' Cities and States.  This includes violent felons.  Why in the world would you support releasing violent felons into your city when you could turn them over to ICE to be deported to their homeland? That doesn’t seem very smart.   

Maybe Trump should initially focus on taking out all of the criminal illegals in non-sanctuary cities/states.  That might encourage a further migration of criminal migrants to blue states where they’d be more welcome.  Could be the dystopian future those cities deserve, but Trump isn’t that mean.  He wants to protect Democrat cities too.  Protect them from their stupid policies shielding criminals by hiding behind faux santuary.  

Also, where were you when the Deporter-In-Chief Obama deported 5.3 million illegals?  Were you protesting along side the Denver Mayor?  Setting up a Tiananmen Square level protest to stop the cruel deportations?  Complaining about the loss of construction workers in Texas?  Hell no you weren’t because Deporter Obama Good and Deporter Orange Man Bad.  

I fully agree with your stance on the criminals.   I think most of America does too.

But Repuiblicans have said for two decades now that EVERY UNDOCUMENTED PERSON in this country is a criminal and should be kicked out of the country.       Including Donald Trump.   And 100% absolutely including Stephen Miller and Tom Homo.         Do you agree with that dispostion, Charles?    

I've said I am withholding judgement to see what unfolds.     Are you going to be ok with a policy that goes after working people with no criminal records?     Or will you come up with an excuse to rationalize that if it happens?

If you didn't seek refugee status at a border crossing or go through the legal immigration system:

You broke the law.  Pretty easy to understand, just follow the rules for immigration or refuge.

OK - so then you are for rounding up the cleaning ladies at Vegas Hotels....and the meatpacking plant workers....and the Agriculture workers....and the other 10 million people who go to work for a living every day doing jobs Americans dont want.    

Pretty sure you voted for the right candidate.     And you have the right two people put in charge for that mission in Homon and Miller.

Where were you when Obama deported 5.3 million 'Undocumented' working people?  Were you whining then or just whining now?  But to your point, lets start with the criminals, those already under deportation orders and those that just snuck in without even applying for phony amnesty.  That will take some time.

Then we can move on to any who came here in the last 4 years but are not working.  Finally we can see who can be replaced with American Workers for higher pay, Tesla Optimus or Legal Aliens.  Any workers who still remain can be offerred Green Cards if they pay a Foreigh Worker Tax.
