I'm slightly altering the quoted phrase used by a MAGA at a Trump rally next year, in order to sanitize it and avoid hypocritical "outrage" from our MAGA pigs here.
So a major sacred tenet of MAGA philosophy is that the "undeserving" shouldn't receive government benefits, such as health care. The "qualifications" proposed in the Big Ugly Bill include being employed. This, of course, ignores the fact that medical issues can curtail or prevent holding a job, or at least a steady or well-paying job.
But let's put that debate aside for the moment.
What about the children of all those people who, in the MAGAverse, don't "deserve" medical care? I mean, yeah, their parents are darkies or beaners or FEELTHY IMMERGENTS or whatever, but how are their children to blame for their parents' "subhumanity" (to quote another MAGA term)?
So MAGA wants kids to be sick, and sometimes die, because their parents are subhuman freeloaders. That seems horribly cruel to me.
And yes, because I'm a bleeding-heart liberal, I'm perfectly willing to pay higher taxes so some six-year-old child can be treated for measles or get a broken arm fixed. Even if that child's parents are black, brown, unemployed, or whatever "disqualification" they may have.
Let's vote! Give the children of the "subhumans" and "undeserving" medical care, or not?
