Medicare and food stamps: 20% cut coming

So a lot of poor people will die. But hey, millionaires will be happy! Let's do the math!

Maximum food stamps benefit: $292. After the Turd Bill is passed, it will be $234. So maybe Mom will have to decide which of the kids will eat tlhis month.

Meanwhile, billionaires and corporations will be saving 50%. You make a million in a year, your $380,000 tax bill is slashed in half. You've saved $190,000!

And while it's hard to quantify the individual cost of Medicaid cuts, we can safely assume that people will be sicker longer, and some will die for lack of timely care. 

Then let's factor in Trumpiffs. A 25% increase in the cost of food will shrink the purchasing power of those $234 benefits. Subtract another $58.

So because of Trump's Bigly Asshole bill, people who were living on $292 a month will now be living on $176. And

medical care will be much harder to access, particularly in rural areas.

But rich MAGAs will be SO happy!

  Here we go again, Lying Lewis spewing unsubstantiated speculation about events that have not happened. Expressing nonsense not backed up with facts - typical lying liberal fearmongering. And of course this hasn't happened yet; the bill hasn't passed. But it will. Trump is in the process of bullying any resisting senators. He always does that, and it always works.

As far as the specifics are concerned...they're right there in the bill. I've read it...completely. Have you, dumb Davey Dog? Or are you just going to lie at the feet of your master, panting and drooling and hoping for a pat on the head?

Medicaid cuts WILL happen. Food stamps WILL be slashed. It's how the Turd plans to make up for the massive tax cuts for the rich.

Republicans put themselves in quite an interesting little corner.    

It turns out "cutting government spending" doesnt really impact the deficit unless you cut spending in the military or safety net programs.    Thats a lesson most intelligent people understood already - but MAGA had to go through the embarrassing DOGE exercise to learn how math works.

Soooooooooo......Republicans are left with either massively cutting the safety net programs or just piling on to the deficit by trillions of dollars....or some combination of both.    

I suspect some combination of both.   I've been laughing at Republicans for years about their bullshit claims of fiscal responsibility.     If you erased all of the Republican legislation from the last 25 years we would have a balanced budget today.

  If you erased the DemocRat "spend, spend, spend" mantra there would be no deficet.

Your initial replonse to my post was very certain. You called my prediction that the Turd Bill would pass  "fearmongering." So are you saying now that it won't pass?

Or are you saying that iit won't add to the deficit? Or are you saying that it doesn't contain massive cuts to social programs?
