Drag shows can be hilarious. Only a male in desperate doubt about his own sexuality would raise a stink about them. Of course, that appears to perfectly describe quite a few Republican legislators.
I still can't really understand why such idiots bitch and moan about things other people read and watch. If they don't like it, stay the fuck away!

I just hate that we/I pay the guy to waste government time on such crap. This is the kind of excrement that should get no attention and die a natural death due to irrelevance, as in who cares? Oh, well, at least he showed himself to be the a-hole he must be. JMHO, of course.
Actually, my parents never mentioned this kind of thing, but somehow I figured it out. Maybe after my first trip to New Orleans and dinner at the My O My Club, when I looked on in wonder, how could these males actually pull off their female looks so well? Not fair! Oh, well, been there, seen it, fine if that's what floats your boat. Kids get it early, giggle about it at sleep-overs, move on with life. Drag queens make money doing it, no harm done. Takes all kinds to make an interesting world.

I also wonder why drag-hating David goes anywhere near Vegas, since there have been drag shows there for at least the last thirty years.
You're right, Candy, the makeup and costuming are often remarkable. It's very often great entertainment.
The ancient Greeks and Roman's had drag shows. They were considered essential audience warm-ups before a play, especially a tragedy. So, nothing new under the son. They're an essential part of kabuki theater. And so on.
