In most cases the death penalty is stupid. It's much cheaper to just give them life in prison without parole. Still, I'd keep it around for mass shooters, terrorism and for those special folks that try and overthrow the government.

The death penalty is, though, horribly expensive to administer, because of the long, drawn-out appeals process. So what we should do is round them all up, ship them off to an uninhabited Aleutian island, and make sure they get trial dates. No later than 2047.

You finally implied your ultimate goal...the unmitigated extermination of all R's. How thoughtful and simultaneously supportive of the long - quoted liberal democratic principles of equality for all, fairness, inclusivity and equality that you yourself tout in some of your arguments in here . That statemernt renders the entire totality of your past and future comments in this forum as meaningless.That doesn't matter as long as you're entertaining yourself while attempting to demonize your opposition in here and worldwide, I guess.
