Moody’s on Friday changed its outlook on the US credit rating to “negative” from “stable” citing large fiscal deficits and a decline in debt affordability.

It has been shown many times that spending is increasing faster than inflation & revenue.  It is a spending problem.

What are the democrats doing to reduce the defict & debt?  Every time the Republicans propose cuts, the democrats say NO.
