Well I'm glad to know that at least one high profile Black leader (and almost the highest of the high, except for Oprah) had the guts to speak out. 

A worthy concept will almost always be hijacked by pretenders. 

Pretenders swoop in to take advantage of emotion-charged events and movements for their own greedy purposes.  Who will call these pretenders out?  Who will point to the damage done to the real movement? 

Where are other influential Black artists, educators, politicians, faith-based leaders?  Will they lead their constituents in "separating the wheat from the chaff", the ligitimate protesters from the pretenders?   Will they hear Jesse Jackson's message and tag on publicly?

Hitler grew GNP.  PJ, does that make growing GNP bad?

PJ, if the policy that I suggest would lead to fewer deaths, would you support it?  I already know the answer.  How, you ask?  As the two of us dined many years ago (on Meridian, I believe), I suggested to you that our government should put two parallel walls along the Mexico border and kill anything inside of these two walls.  You opposed it, even if the two walls led to fewer lives being lost.

You don’t like force and you don't like deaths?  Does one take precedence?  A transparent shoot to kill looters policy would save lives.

Look at the deaths that PJ's soft touch is leading to.  I'm always amazed who Liberals love failed policy.

But losses stemming from the Floyd protests are likely to far exceed that. In Minneapolis, where some 400 businesses were damaged, owners and insurance experts estimate costs of the damage to exceed $500 million, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Allowing all of this death and destruction to happen is disgusting.

The sad thing is ithe entre tape from the officers body cam can now be seen on utube and George Floyd was not the peaceful man that was portrayed that day. He appears high and is erratic, not doing what he is told after repeatedly being asked. Those officers never shouldnt have been charged with murder, and rioting should not have started. I am sure if the officers are not convicted more riots will ensue because of the false media narrative/portrayal.

I do believe that the cops, or at minimum one cop, should be charged with murder.  Floyd was a punk and an interesting choice as the BLM poster boy, but that doesn't justify the police actions.    Personally, I would have chosen a Purdue Engineering grad with an MBA from The Wharton school at Pennsyslvania who was killed by police.  Apparently the choices for "BLM Poster Boy" is limited to punks, criminals, and thugs.
