Well, most Americans voted not-Trump; most Americans vote Democrat rather than Republican; and most Americans don't hate brown people, black people, and Asian people. Most Americans don't think gay and transgender people should be burned alive.
But the minority--the amoral, power-grubbing, traitorous, Mother Tucker-loving, insurrection-supporting minority--is in charge. And that's the whole problem. The will of the people has been, is being, and will be ignored.

Imagine the RepubliQ Handmaid Republic. Women are forced to register their pregnancies as soon as detected or face heavy fines. Then, they have to report to doctors on a weekly basis, and those doctors send progress reports to the government. If the women fail to give birth, barring an actual medical miscarriage, they are shipped off to prison. Five years for the first offense, ten for the second.
And while they're in prison, they're raped and impregnated by RepubliQ guards. If they don't give birth to their rapists' children, they're simply taken out and shot.
All of our conservitards just came in their pants.
Coming soon in red states, if you don't have your rapist's baby you will be sent to jail. And as an added punishment for being raped, you get to be in a forced relationship with your rapist baby daddy and his family until the child is an adult.
Conservatives love rape as it is another way to control women.
The public seems confused over the issue. Polls have shown that most people don't understand the implications.

This poll shows over 60% don't want Roe overturned, but 47% want it banned.

Depending on how the question is asked, results vary. When asked about keeping Roe, people say yes, when asked should it be illegal a slight majority says yes
