my election eggs just yet

Kevin is still clinging to the lie that Sleepy Joe is sharp and snappy.  Hell, the liberal media has been forced to cover up their past lies with new lies...now telling the public that they too were duped by the Whitehouse.  They knew all along that Biden's a dolt, but they can't admit that they have been lying all along.  The only out is another lie........."We were duped!"

Grow out of your habit of putting words in other people's mouths--it's a childish way to argue.

The reasons for biden's performance change by the day.  They can't even keep their story straight

1- He had a cold, but nothing was said about it until he started falling apart.  The cold disappeared the next day

2- He was worked to hard

3- Information overload

4- The makeup

5- The the flight to Atlanta made him tired

6- There was no audience, but that was one of his requirements

7- The trips to Europe wore him out even thought they were 2 weeks earlier & he spent 8 days hiding out in

Camp David.  He even admits to nearly dozing off during the debate

So fucking what, stupid Tom? You were going to vote for the rapist felon no matter what. Nothing about the debate would have changed your diseased little mind, no matter what happened. No way you could become a good or decent person.

Go ahead, vote for your hero, the evil asshole wannabe dictator. Your mommy would be so proud of you.

It has gotten to be almost comical to read the angry rants that Lewis goes on when confronted with the undeniable truth that factually disputes his prior postings.

I agree, not just because of Biden's performance, but to insure absolute fairness.  If anyone is on the fence, and Trump wins hands down, then it might be said Trump won because of the debate

There should be opportunity for Biden's medics to go over his condition, medications, everything with a fine tooth comb, make any changes deemed appropriate (too many sleeping pills, antidepressants, etc.).

Should Biden factually rule-in medically for loss of decision making capacity (happens all the time in medicine when it comes to end-of-life decision making--decisions made with collaboration of medical, psychiatric testing), then Biden could be 'allowed' to bow out gracefully for his sake and that of his NOKs. Otherwise 'somebody' might say "If not for xyz Biden would have performed well."

If that turns out not to be the case, and Biden surprises everyone and does well, then some have more thinking to do, legitimately.

That's all.  One way to look at it.

JMHO.

No matter how well Biden may do in a future debate, it will not negate what he and the DemocRats have done to America and Americans since he took office.

Because people in general, and MAGAs in particular, are stupid, they overvalue whatever they have most recently seen.  The debate is a perfect example of that. It didn't prove or disprove Biden's fitness--it was a single 90 minute event. But MAGAs and Democrats alike are treating it as though it was an apocalyptic event.

This myopia obscures the only real issue at hand. We CANNOT elect the evil racist dictator felon. Thus, we should vote for whoever opposes him, even if it's a potted plant.

Candy, you've seemed strangely blase about the dangers of a second Trump presidency, so I'll ask you directly: how do you feel about Trump retaking the Oval Office? Scary? Meh? Filled with joy?

Kevin, maybe indeed I've seemed "blase" about Trump being POTUS again.  As you know I don't broadcast my political preferences for several reasons: 1) I am the least politically astute person on the planet; my opinions are formed, and change day to day, by my reading of [what I consider] decently learned contributors, local and nationally known, to our tremendously non-partisan newspaper.  No CNN, Fox, NPR (do they still exist?) gets my respect, and believe me, there was a time 20 or more  years ago I watched Fox News religiously, but those days are over.  2) I've actually not taken real seriously the likelihood of Trump making it to the nomination stage, let alone elected President, so kind of like...as you say...I've been somewhat blase about it.  My mouth is agape that he has regained/retained such popularity.  I'm aghast at his denial of his 2020 defeat, and his promotion of the events on Jan. 6th.  3) Still and all, I grew up in a time, and a household, when the POTUS, even a potted plant one, was accorded a significant degree of respect just for being the POTUS.  And, like what you paid for your house, was something the ordinary man/woman on the street kept to themselves.  4) I think growing up under Bill Clinton administrations (state and national) may have, how does one say it, numbed me to the fact that polititians are basically sleeze balls taking my tax money for causes that I do not understand.  To say he was a womanizer is an understatement, and I think he did some things worse than Trump...some things, maybe not as many things.  Ever heard of Vince Foster?

But, I digress, and can't really answer your question to your satisfaction, other than to say that a) I wish that Asa Hutchinson had seriously and timely put himself out there for the nomination, and b) I'm like a kindergarten teacher...boys, boys, stop the fighting!  Which is an incredibly naive stance in regard to partisan politics.  Sorry.

Unless Joe Biden bounces back from the state of catatonia that he displayed the other night, we are in deep do do regarding the next POTUS

Candy

Thanks for putting yourself out there and keeping it real, Candy.  Much appreciated.

Like you, I am not a very political person.  I actually don't care for political parties, but for my own personal beliefs, I side more Democrat or Liberal, as some like to post, than conservative.  Not happy with what transpired at the debate in regards to Biden's struggles, but will vote for him in November.  I just can't vote for a POS like Trump.  He talks a good game and has lots of people believing he's running for the good of the country, but the dude has never done anything but for himself.  He loves the attention, nothing more.
