Steve moves out in 1.5 weeks.  He decided to stay until it got warm.  He correctly knows that this sort of violence tends to happen during warm months.  PJ and others who don't live there know better than my buddy.  His girlfriend, who was also in downtown Chicago, moved also.  She now lives 60 miles NW of Chicago.

As I've mentioned in the past, this is a deal called "Shut Down", which is organized by young punk.

The "I know a guy" defense is getting tiresome--and raises the question of veracity.  Besides, an anecdote is not evidence.

The word "data" is not defined as that which Boilerman's friends say or do.     There were violent mass shootings in ALabama and Tennessee in the past two weeks.   Does anyone know if Boilerman has a friend there?  Cause thats how we measure that shit apparently

And I invite everyone to go back and read the 30 page thread of Boilerman backpeddling from his BS argument about the touristy area of Chicago adjacent to the John Hancock building, Second City COmedy CLub, and Oak Street Beach. And then pretending not to be able to read the 1000 tourist reviews of the areas he says are too unsafe to visit.

BTW- the parent company of Boilerman's article just paid 780 million dollars today as restitution for slander and dishonest journalism.     I just mention that in passing.
