Dont worry. We have a "minerals deal" with Ukraine. Thats better than a security guarnatee.
NATO is now engaging in a protocol--I think it's called Article 4--that according to the compact, is a mandatory meeting between all the member states when one of them is attacked, invaded, or threatened.
According to the NATO treaty, the US must attend this meeting. Will we? And should we even be allowed to? Won't Trump report the plans directly to Putin?
Poland knows more about being attacked and invaded than any other European country. And they're watching the Ukraine war with apprehension, knowing that they're next if Ukraine loses. So Putin doing a recon of Polish defenses must be very, very scary for them. As is Trump's de facto alliance with Putin.
This ain't good.
