If this story holds up, Donnie is owned lock stock and barrel by the Russians and totally beholden to them. Looks like the Conservatives may have sold out the country to a Russian asset.
The story has not been verified....plus, Putin strongly denies it. He was very strong about it. He's a strong man. Very strong.
But our president has already been doing cartwheels to reward Russia for attacking our democracy and invading Crimea. He really wants them in the G7(8).

"The [NBC] Program and Tweet make the false and defamatory statements that 'Russian oligarchs' co-signed loans provided to Mr. Trump by Deutsche Bank, and described these 'co-signers' as 'Russian billionaires close to Vladimir Putin.' "
Trump is demanding that O'Donnell and NBCU "immediately and prominently retract, correct and apologize for the aforementioned false and defamatory statements."
"Failure to do so will leave my clients with no alternative but to consider their legal options which could include immediate legal proceedings against Mr. O’Donnell and NBCU," concludes the letter. "Should that occur, my clients would pursue all available causes of action and seek all available damages and other legal remedies to the maximum extent permitted by law."

I think Trump invites these speculations because he has violated so many Presidential norms. If he had put his business assets in a blind trust like past Presidents, his business ties to Russa wouldn't keep coming up. Anyway, I'd love to see Trump sue NBC. Trump would have to release the loan documents in question to prove his case.
Alas, I think Trump is too busy to pursue litigation with NBC as he is spending all of his time complaining about Fox News. He thinks they aren't in the tank enough for him.
