Nevada goes for Trump--true patriots shouldn't visit the state

Didn't vote for Trump.. for the eighth time. Don't call me a liar..and don't worry about my civil rights being taken away, either. Get some new, more creative dope.

You said that I haven't "acknowledged/accepted the factual loss." That's a lie. I haven't denied what happened, and you know I haven't, so your saying that I did just to "prove" your asinine point makes me doubt you greatly when you say you didn't vote for Trump. You talk like a Trumper. Quacks like a duck, and all that.

I won't worry about your losing your civil rights, because from all your recent posts, that's apparently what you want to happen. It's also what a majority of the country wants as well. It's like when there are nineteen people in a room and ten of them vote to kill the other nine. Those nine minority folks shouldn't complain (or resist), because the decision was arrived at in democratic fashion.

If I thought that the absolute worst was a certainty to happen, I would, right now, before this two-month grace period expires, be deciding between fleeing the country and buying and learning to use a sniper rifle. Offense vs. defense, and all that. But I'm also not as absolutely crazy as you, to think that everything will be just swell and all the warnings about Trump's intentions are just moonshine.

I, as I've repeatedly said, expect something in between utter disaster and nothing to happen--despite your silly mischaracterizations of what I've said. I expect civil rights to be weakened and our country to backslide into nativism, racism, and authoritarianism. I also expect the ecomony to go completely into the shitter. But I don't expect that to happen here on the West Coast. We have the power to resist the worst of Trump's impulses.

So, again, despite your lies. I do indeed have a, as you put it, cogent solution. Recognize that the United States is dead and try to live peacefully in the remnant that is still a democracy. I'm surrounded by people I care about and don't want to see hurt. In the final reckoning, that's all that matters, and that's all that's worth fighting for.

And if the United States has mutated into a country that elects things like Trump, do you really want to be part of that? I sure as hell don't.
