New York Wakes Up Under Socialism after Mamdani Sworn In

It's also worth noting NYC in all its socialist imperialism has decided that trash in containers is more difficult to access by rats than bagged trash sitting on the ground.     Sounds like another hoax like climate change, huh?

if you think contained trash is helpful in this regard then the change is good.   But if you are a card carrying member of the flat earth society then maybe you think it's a bad idea.    Opinions are free in this country.    Even in communist, NYC.

Tom sure has a funny set of priorities as to what twists his panties.

Maybe they don't use garbage cans where he comes from?

But then, his enthusiastic support of the summary execution of protestors does indicate a rather bizarre worldview, to say the least.

And maybe he's from small town America where they still use the aluminum cans, where the "Garbageman" gets out of the truck, gets your cans or bags and flings them into the back of the garbage truck and then moves on to the next house.

It was a real struggle to get Clem to stop tossing his chicken entrails over the back fence and instead, put them in a trash can to be picked up by the newly formed sanitation service. Then, when he was informed that he would have to PAY for that service, he screamed "SOOOOCIALISM!!", grabbed his shotgun, jumped over the back fence, and shot four trees.

There are 2 problems with this mandate; which is typical for NYC.

1- There is no difference between the can the city is mandating and the standard garbage can sold in most stores; other than it has a NYC label on it.  Many people already have this style but have to junk it because it doesn't have a NYC label on it. A waste of people's money.

2- As uusual the city mandates people buy somthing and then hires a supplier who cannot fulfill the order, but says people will be fined if they don't have their can.

Sounds like a failure of capitalism to me! NYC needs more socialism! The city would have already owned all the cans.

One must always talk slowly for kevin

1- The city passed a mandate that everyone had to BUY THE NYC garbage can

2- The only difference between the 2 cans is one says NYC on it

3- Even though the city passed this mandate; the vendor they picked is incapable of fullfilling the order.

4- So once again it is a govt failure not capitalism.

Tom-logic 😂😂😂😂😂😂

So the free market vendor screwed up.     And that's Tom's example of socialism.

The socialist govt picked a vendor who couldn't fulfill the order.  A capitalist would have checked to make sure the vendor had the capacity to do the job.

A free market govt would not have forced people to buy the same product that they already own.
