Why would I do that, when I can use my MGM betting app to GET 1 point on KC instead of laying seven with you?

Aside from the fact that they'd pay me if I won, and you wouldnt.

Hilbert, if anyone else asked me that question, I'd treat it as an honest inquiry and answer it.

Most decent sports bettors know that the casinos' line isn't a prediction or evaluation of the teams' strengths and weaknesses--it's what they calculate will attract an equal amount of action on both sides.

So I wasn't "estimating a line." I wasn't trying to predict what the casinos would do or say. In fact, I strongly suspected that my line would be quite different from theirs. I also strongly suspected that some numbnuts nimrod asshole cocksucker would note that difference and tell me that my line was "wrong." THAT was a lock.

But just for grins...the betting public has a very, very short memory. All they remember about KC and CIN was last weekend's performace. They saw the Bengals play very well and the Chiefs struggle to put away the Jags. So they've suckered into thinking the two teams are equal--and ignoring KC's home field advantage! The game will probably close at -1 to +1, which is fucking ridiculous. I'll almost certainly take KC, a 14-3 team playing the AFC championship game at home and LAYING NO POINTS!

And here's another something for you nimrods to chew on--it's pointless to bet UNLESS you think the line you're betting into is somehow flawed, as otherwise, you're just giving up the vig for nothing. So I'm thrilled to take two extremely strong home teams and lay very few points--because I think the line is skewed to accomodate anticipated lopsided action.

No, not necessary, just as you calling everyone liars, speechifying six times a day about how the Democrats are destroying the country, bitching about everything under the sun real and imaginary, calling everyone liars, making stupid predictions that you don't own up to, and calling everyone liars isn't necessary.

But my remark WAS appropriate, because I posted MY line on the football games and predictably, like clockwork, the numbnuts nimrod asshole cocksucker brigade jumped up and attacked me for posting a line different from the Vegas line. I hadn't bothered to say that I wasn't trying to predict what the Vegas line would be, because I thought that even a numbnuts nimrod asshole cocksucker would have been able to figure that out.

Anyway, David--you quit the filthy language, by which I don't mean swear words and such; I mean insulting and attacking everyone who doesn't agree with you. I also mean quit making your stupid claims such as that Trump won the election and Biden is dead. If you can control yourself at all, I'll dial it back to choirboy language.
