Nike Permanently Closes Portland Factory Store Over ‘Theft And Safety Issues,’ Business Group Says

Portland didn't defund its police department in 2020 or at any other time. Your post is a lie.

Definition of defund

From Brookings

Defunding the police is a systematic reallocation of funds from police departments to better-qualified social services and public health agencies.

Britanica

the basic definition is to move funding away from police departments and into community resources such as mental health experts, housing, and social workers

Cambridge

to stop providing money or as much money to pay for something

You would think the alleged English major would know this

Millerscum's "source" said that ALL funding had been completely taken away--and so dod Millerscum.

The people who invented the word meant it that way--remove all funding.

The actuality is that Portland reduced the city's police funding by 1.8%, reallocation those funds to civic improvements.

Do you think Millerscum's "source" was bitching about a one-time 1.8% reduction?
